Mindless Blabber

once a dream come true, now a daunting lie.
that dream was entertained, only, by my own desires.
dreams, never ceases to grasp hold of foolishness.
foolishness, only leads back to dreams that lied.
dreams can never be reality, nor can they ever coincide.
ailments of my heart can only be healed by time,
but never to leave me the same again.

MSN TEXT-TWIST vs LIFE

If you've ever played this game, after a few games, you will know exactly how to beat this game. All you have to do is unscramble however many letters they give you, and spell out the longest possible word with those given letters. It doesn't even matter how many other words you've come up with--- if you haven't figured out the longest possible word, you will surely not go to the next round. BUT, if you've figured out that word-- doesn't matter if you haven't listed any other words-- you get to go to the next round automatically.

Do you ever feel like you need to figure out every little detail life entails before you figure out, perhaps, the most mind-boggling question of all? What iss the meaning of YOUR life?? To me, it's like this... if you already know Jesus Christ is your God and Saviour-- the grand plan of it all -- then you get to go to the next round!! You don't even have to worry about little obstacles or plans in your life... because God will provide... all you have to figure out is the last step... and how to get there. That is not to say unscrambling those letters may be easy... but when you do have it all unscrambled before time runs out... you will feel this huge burden and anxiety lifted off you... because you have achieved the next round, eternal life. Sound simple enough? Time is precious, figure it out for yourself.

I'm sure you've all read that Asianweek article about SHAQ. Does that make you angry in any way??? Voice your opinions to NBA... write them a letter!!! I did...

Shaq needs to be suspended for a few games for his unsportsmanlike behavior towards Asians. Just because he is a venerated athlete, does not mean his behavior can be justified. If nothing is done, other athletes may look upon this and think it okay to throw around RACIAL SLURS. Especially as an African-American, he knows full well the struggles for equality, and the consequences of racism. Asians should NOT be put down in the SAME way African-Americans should not be slurred against. Shaq needs to stop being a baby, and start being a ROLE MODEL.

I'm back!!!!!!!!!!!!!! had a wonderful time in taiwan... took lotsa pictures... ate lotsa food... bought lotsa clothes... life was good!

the hi-light of my trip was when i saw this japanese/taiwanese hot actor: Takeshi Kaneshiro. he was hot. hot. hot. but i didn't have the guts to go up to him to shake his hand... sigh... I'm such a chicken!!!

New Years and Christmas in Taiwan was rather different. People don't really celebrate it... it's not a big holiday there for some reason... Although we did celebrate Christmas the good old Western style. My cousin's husband being British, gave out presents to everyone. He would give one present out, wait for us to open it, everyone looks at the present, woos and aahs later... he would give out the next present. Pretty cool huh? i'm sure most of our asian parents do not do this. that was rather fantastical. hahhaa.

New Years was spent at a mall. The biggest hugest 24 hour mall. Soooo many people there... things were mad cheap, and I got one of those automatic open/close umbrellas for 300NT... not even $10 in the states!!! ( I lost my Totes open/close umbrella... I left it on a taxi earlier in the trip... i was sooo sad cuz i lost the same umbrella in college also... and that thing was not cheap!!! was like $25 here) So you see... I had a very good deal on my new umbrella... yippeeeeee....... Louis and Jon wanted to club at foreigner clubs, and we found one at the mall--- Plush--- it was one of the clubs introduced on Wild on Taiwan... VERY crowded.

Well, I'm back at the office now... and no one is here!!! what am I doing here????????
